I suspected Breyer would become increasingly dependent on limited runs. Even the standard runs went from a decade to two years (which thwarted my childhood dream of owning everyone in the 1980 collector’s manual :^D)<br /><br />But what popped into my head was that the only way to make the distribution “fair” is simply make them more available! They’ve latched onto the strategy of limited production + high price. In my opinion, they’re counting on collectors who would rather have a rare/valuable horse than a horse that is a work of art, regardless of quantity. I ...I've got a couple of the Farnam books too. I picked up one (Pretty sure it was Farnham) because I recognized Sam Savitt's style on the front cover. <br /><br />Also saw a copy of Fury of Broken Wheel Ranch recently, in German. Didn't buy it, but I did get a copy of an old C.W. Anderson, called Future Champion or something like that.
